Buy an item

To buy an item, add it to your cart and submit an offer to the seller. When the seller accepts, the offer becomes an order and you meet in game to pay in aUEC and collect the item. No aUEC passes through SC Market.

Before you start

• A verified account. You can browse without one, but the cart needs it.

Steps

1. Search the market. Narrow the results with Item Type, the price range and Pickup Method, and use Sort By to order them.

2. Open a listing and click Add next to the variant you want (Add to Cart on mobile).

3. Choose the Quantity and click Add to Cart. The quantity is limited by the seller's stock and order limits.

4. Open your cart. Items are grouped by seller.

5. Optionally write a Note to the seller, then click Submit Offer for that seller and Confirm Order.

6. Your offer opens. Wait for the seller to accept it, or to send a counter offer.

Bid on an auction

Auction listings have a bid panel showing the Current Bid and when it Ends In. Enter Your Bid (aUEC), at least the Min Bid shown, and click Place Bid. When the auction ends, the highest bid wins and SC Market creates an offer for the winner at that price. If nobody bids, or the seller's reserve price isn't met, the listing expires.

Post a buy order

Can't find what you need? Create a buy order with the item, quantity and price range you'll pay. Sellers can fill it from their listings, which creates an order with you directly. Browse open requests on Buy Orders.

Wait for a better price

Too expensive, or out of stock? Click Watch price on the item or listing and set your target price. You get an alert when someone lists it at or below that price: see get price alerts with the watchlist.

Advanced: search and buy from Discord

In a server with the SC Market bot, and with your Discord account linked to SC Market:

1. Run /search with a query, such as Medical Supplies. To see one shop's listings, pick it in seller instead (or as well).

2. Narrow the results with the optional item_type, sorting, quantity_available, min_cost, max_cost, quality_min and quality_max.

3. Page through the in-stock results with the arrow buttons.

4. Click Buy to order: enter the Quantity and an optional Note to Seller. Or click Offer to propose a price: Your Offer (aUEC), Quantity and a Message to Seller.

The offer or order then shows in My Orders as usual. Nothing in stock at your price? /watchlist add alerts you when a matching listing appears.

What happens next

Your offers and orders are in My Orders. Some sellers only take offers from buyers who have set their availability, so set it if checkout asks you to.
