Recruit members for your org
Updated · Khuzdul
Recruit on SC Orgs, our sister site for running Star Citizen orgs. Players find your org in its directory and click Apply to Join. You review each application, and the player is notified at every step.
Why SC Orgs
Org directory: players browse Communities and filter it by focus, such as mining or combat, and by playstyle.
Applications: players apply from your org page. You and your officers approve, interview or reject them, with a reason they can read.
Members: roles and permissions, invites and events, all in the same place as your recruits.
Steps
Register your org on SC Orgs. You paste a short code on your RSI org page, which takes about two minutes.
Fill in your Description, Languages, Playstyle and Focus Areas. Players filter the directory by focus and playstyle.
Share your org's SC Orgs page on Discord or Spectrum. Players apply from there.
Review applications on your org's Recruitment page: Approve, Interview or Reject.
Recruiting posts on SC Market
If you already use one, SC Market's recruiting post still works. Each org has one post, listed on Recruiting and on the Recruiting tab of your org's page.
Post or edit: you need the Manage Recruiting permission (Owner and Admin have it), with your org selected in the sidebar. Open Recruiting, click Create Post (or Update Post), enter a Title and a Description, and click Submit.
Formatting: the description supports Markdown. YouTube links embed, and so do images hosted on Imgur or RSI.
How players find it: they search and sort posts, and filter by Org Tags, Minimum Rating and language. Signed-in players can upvote a post once a week and comment on it.
How they join: there's no apply button. A player contacts you and you invite them, or you put a multi-use invite link in the post.
