How orders work
Updated · Khuzdul
Every purchase starts as an offer. When the seller accepts it, SC Market creates an order, and the order's status shows how far along the trade is. The item and the aUEC change hands in game; SC Market only keeps track of the deal.
From offer to order
When you check out, or win an auction, the seller gets an offer. On the offer page, whoever's turn it is sees Accept or Decline with three choices:
Accept creates the order.
Counter Offer sends back changed terms, and then it's the other side's turn.
Reject closes the offer.
While you wait for the other side, you can still Cancel Order.
Order statuses
Queued: the order exists, and the seller hasn't started on it.
Being fulfilled: the seller clicked Begin Work.
Fulfilled: the seller clicked Complete Order after the hand-off.
Cancelled: the buyer or the seller cancelled it.
Only the seller side moves an order forward: the seller, or for an org, the assigned member or a member with the org's manage orders permission. Fulfilled and cancelled orders are closed and can't change again.
Finish the trade in game
Use the order's messages to agree on a time and place, meet in game, and exchange the item and the aUEC. If the seller has set up the SC Market Discord bot, the order also gets a Discord Thread: use Join Server to join the seller's server and chat there.
Reviews
The buyer and the seller can each leave one review per order: a Rating from 1 to 5 and a Comment. If a review about you looks wrong, click Request Review Revision to ask the reviewer to edit it.
Where to find your orders
Buyers: My Orders lists your offers, orders and buy orders.
Sellers: Orders in your shop's sidebar lists incoming offers and orders.
