Create an account and get verified

Sign up with Citizen iD or Discord, then verify that you own your RSI handle. Anyone can browse SC Market, but you need a verified account to use your cart, list items or work on orders.

Before you start

• A Star Citizen (RSI) account.

• A Citizen iD or Discord account to sign in with.

Steps

1. Open Sign up and choose Sign up with Citizen iD or Sign up with Discord.

2. Approve the sign-in on the provider's page. You come back to SC Market signed in.

3. If you used Citizen iD, your account is already verified. Skip to step 6.

4. If you used Discord, SC Market opens Verify Your Account in Settings. Link Citizen iD there, or use Manual Verification.

5. For manual verification, enter your RSI Handle (not your moniker), click Copy Code and Open Profile, and paste the code into the short bio of your RSI profile. Accept the Terms of Service and click Submit.

6. Work through the short setup, for example Availability, Email and Organization. Every step has a Skip button, and Skip setup, I'll explore on my own skips the rest.

What happens next

Until your account is verified, every signed-in page sends you back to Settings. After that you can use the whole site: browse the market, fill your cart, and open a shop to sell.

You can change your profile, notifications, Discord integration and blocked users at any time in Settings.
