Invite and manage org members
Updated · Khuzdul
Invite a player by their SC Market username, or share an invite link that anyone can use to join. Both are on your org's Invites tab. Everyone who joins gets the org's Member role, and you can change their roles afterwards.
Before you start
The org's Manage Invites permission to invite.
The player has an SC Market account.
Steps
Open My Organizations, click Manage on your org and select the Invites tab.
Under Invite Members, pick one or more players by Username, add an optional Note, and click Submit.
Each player gets a "Contractor invite from" notification on SC Market. They open it and click Accept (or Decline). A Join Organization button also shows on your org's page for them.
Share an invite link
On the Invites tab, under Create New Invite Code, set Max Invite Uses. 0 means unlimited.
Click Submit. The code appears in the Invites list with how often it was used.
Click the copy icon next to the code to copy the invite link, and share it on Discord or in game.
The player opens the link, signs in and clicks Accept under Accept Contractor Invite.
Invite codes don't expire. Click the delete icon next to a code to stop it working.
Give members roles
New members only get Member. To give someone more permissions, open the Roles and Members tab and pick roles in their Roles selector. See roles and permissions.
Remove a member
On the Roles and Members tab, click Kick on the member's row. You need the Kick Members permission, and you can only kick members ranked below you: not someone of the same rank or higher. The owner can kick anyone except themselves. Kicking removes all their org roles.
Leave an org
Open Settings, select Contractors and click Leave Organization next to the org. The owner can't leave: use Transfer Ownership there first.
Advanced
One link for a recruiting drive: create a code with Max Invite Uses at 0, share it on Discord or wherever you recruit, and delete it when the drive ends.
Find members fast: the Members list on Roles and Members has Search and a Role filter.
Export the roster: click Export above the Members list to download the members' usernames as a CSV file. Only the org's members can export it.
Track who joined: every invite, join, kick and role change is in the org's audit log.
What happens next
New members see your org in their sidebar's context switcher and in My Organizations. With the right roles they can work on the org's orders and shop.
