Register your org on SC Market

Open Register an Org, enter your RSI org's Spectrum ID and prove you run it by adding a code to the org's RSI page. You become the org's owner on SC Market, and its name, logo, banner and introduction are copied from RSI.

Before you start

• An SC Market account (create one).

• Edit rights on your org's page on the RSI website.

• The org isn't registered on SC Market yet. Each Spectrum ID can be registered once.

Steps

1. Open Register an Org and stay on the Existing RSI Org tab.

2. Enter the org's Org Spectrum ID. You can also paste the org's RSI page URL: the ID is taken from it.

3. Click Copy Code and Open Org Page. This copies your personal code and opens the org's admin page on the RSI website.

4. On RSI, paste the code into the org's introduction, history, manifesto or charter, and save.

5. Back on SC Market, click Submit once the code shows on the public org page.

Set up the org profile

Your org's profile is the page players see at Org Page. To edit it, open My Organizations, click Manage on the org, and use the About tab (it needs the Manage Org Details permission):

• General: the Organization Name and a Markdown Description.

• Categories & Tags: Org Tags such as mining or transport. Players filter the org directory and recruiting posts by these.

• Appearance: Upload Logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, under 1 MB) and Set new banner (under 2.5 MB).

Click Save Changes when you're done. Languages are on the Settings tab: pick every language your members speak under Supported Languages and click Save Languages. Players can filter orgs by language.

Create an org without an RSI page

For a group that has no RSI org, use the New Contractor tab instead:

1. Enter a Contractor Name (up to 50 characters).

2. Enter a Contractor Identifier: letters and numbers only, up to 30. SC Market adds ~ in front, so MYCREW becomes ~MYCREW. It can't be changed later.

3. Add a Description, a Logo and Banner image URL, and the Supported Languages (Optional).

4. Click Submit. SC Market opens your new org's page.

What happens next

You get the Owner role. The org also starts with an Admin and a Member role, and new members get Member. Invite your members next, then open a shop so the org can sell. To find new members, we recommend recruiting on SC Orgs.
