Fill a buy order
Updated · Khuzdul
A buy order is a buyer's request for an item: the quantity they want and the price range they'll pay. If you list that item in your shop, you can fill the request, fully or in part. Filling it creates the order right away, without an offer step.
Before you start
An active listing of the same item with listed stock, in a shop you own or, for an org shop, with the org's Manage Market permission.
The listing's price must be at most the buyer's price, and its quality within the buy order's Quality Requirements.
You can't fill your own buy order, an expired one, or one directed at another supplier.
Steps
Open Buy Orders and find a request for an item you sell. The Buy Orders You Can Fulfill dashboard widget lists matches too.
Open the buy order. Check what's Offering, the Quantity remaining and any Quality Requirements.
Under Can you supply this?, click Fulfill Order. On the item's page, the Fulfill button in the buy orders list does the same.
Pick the listing to fill it from. Each choice shows its price, its listed stock and its shop. A listing that can't fill it, for example one priced above the buyer's maximum, is greyed out with the reason. If you have no listing of the item, click Create a listing.
Enter the Quantity to fulfill and check the Order total.
Click Fulfill. SC Market creates the order and opens it.
What happens next
The order uses your listing's price and belongs to that listing's shop. With the shop's default allocation mode, its quantity comes out of your listed stock.
When the full quantity is filled, the buy order closes.
Continue as with any order: see handle orders as a seller.
